Scalloped Potatoes




1/4 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp

1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

Preheat oven for 350°.  In a saucepan, combine butter and flour; gradually add milk,
stirring until smooth. Add salt, pepper, and

cooking until thickened.

In a 2-quart round casserole, place half of potatoes and onions; pour half of sauce
over potatoes. Repeat layers.  Bake for 40 minutes.
