Apple Cranberry Crisp
6 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples
1 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 TB orange juice
1 TB grated orange rind
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup quick-cooking rolled oats, uncooked
1 tsp Signature Spices Dutch Apple Pie Spice
1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 375°. Combine apples, cranberries, 3/4 cup brown sugar, water,
orange juice and orange rind; spoon into an 8-inch square baking dish. Combine
flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, oats and Signature Spices Dutch Apple Pie Spice. Cut
in butter with a pastry blender or fork until crumbly; sprinkle over fruit. Bake for 30
minutes or until apples are tender.
